About Mrs. Rinella Welcome to Concord Elementary School! I am Mrs. Rinella, Principal and proud to
serve our students, teachers and community.
I am a former middle school teacher, coach and administrator as well as
former assistant principal of Concord Elementary School. This is my 16th year in the field
of education and I am honored to be the principal! I am proud to be a product of Campbell County Public Schools. I was born in Campbell County and am a graduate of William Campbell High School. Following high school, I earned a Bachelor of Science Degree from Virginia Tech and then went on to earn a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Virginia. I also have my Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Lynchburg College. I have always wanted to work with children and I am devoted to seeing them as well as teachers continue to learn. When I'm not at school, I can be outside with my husband, running, biking, swimming and/or skiing. I also like spending time with family and friends and having a good cup of coffee or tea. I enjoy reading and particularly baking and cooking. year in education. Prior to coming to CES, I was a fifth grade teacher, Math Coordinator, and Instructional Math
Coach at Appomattox Elementary School.
I am a 2001 graduate of Rustburg High School. In 2005, I earned a B.S. Degree in Liberal Studies with a concentration in Elementary & Middle School Education from Longwood University. In 2009, I earned my Masters Degree in Educational Leadership. When I'm not at school, I cherish spending time with my three daughters and wife! I love traveling, working outdoors, running, and reading books related to education.
